The holidays are past...

And I'm still on a creative break. Believe me it's not because I don't want to write, it's that I don't have anything important to write about yet. I'm suffering from holiday hangover!

The holidays were very good to me this year. I was surrounded by family and friends and I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present than having my grandfather home from an extended 6 month hospital stay. It's been a trying time for my family and I know we were all so thankful for his return. I survived 10 days at home!

New Years was awesome as well as I spent it with my girls ringing in 2008 in Aggieville. It was fun and we rang in the diapered baby the right way, slightly intoxicated.

I've been passing my break by doing small projects that I just needed to get done and haven't had the time to do. Cleaning, organizing...fun stuff. Well, not really. I have to admit the lackluster bowl matchups for the season have left little to be desired. The Orange Bowl was actually the first entertaining game I'd seen...and I don't even like KU! Root for the Big XII I guess. All I can say is 43 days until Daytona!

The racing season will start to kick off on the 7th with Daytona testing and the Chili Bowl in Tulsa will be the 8-12th. Wish I was there, but thanks to pay per view...and about $25 maybe I can be. We'll have to ask permission from Amy. HA! I for one am excited for the upcoming season. So much changed and there is so much to look forward too. 43 days!

Well that's about it for now. Hopefully I'll get some updates going soon. There's got to be something entertaining to discuss!
