Two for Toyota...

Toyota dominated the Nationwide Series race Saturday, February 16, and Tony Stewart took the checkers first and sent new sponsor Armour All to victory lane.

It was Stewart's third Nationwide win (all three coming at Daytona in February).

Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota's also came across the line first in the second qualifying race Thursday with Denny Hamlin and the FedEx no. 11 bringing Toyota its first ever cup win. Bill Davis Racing and Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota's also made a pretty good showing right out of the 08' gate.

Funny, people are already bitching about their dominance.

Toyota did their homework and has more horsepower in their LEGAL engines.

Next verse, same as the first because last season everybody pitched a fit when Hendrick Chevrolet’s won every race; what more do race fans want?

One race, one damn race and people are already bitching. Sorry Junior fans, he can’t win em all. He came close, but lay off. I’m a fan too, but I’m more a fan of great racing and moving things around. Call it fast variety if you will.

Tomorrow is the Great American Race. No driver has ever won the Bud Shootout (won by Earnhardt, Jr.), a duel qualifying race (#1 duel won by Earnhardt, Jr.) and the Daytona 500.

Hopefully Dale Earnhardt, Jr. can do something nobody has ever done before. Tony Stewart said after the Bud Shootout that Junior was the best restrictor plate racer in the field.

Sunday we shall see.
