It's been a while...

I haven't been posting because I haven't had time to post. Today I have a few minutes so I thought I'd just plug in some links that I've read, and liked.

Not much going on really, call it a slow news day.

The All-Star race on the 17th of May will feature a new 'burnout competition'. Sounds fun. Call it racing's answer to the slam dunk contest or the home run derby. Honestly, I think it would be fun to have a throwback race with some of the old timers. How cool would it be to see Cale fender rubbing the Silver Fox down the frontstrectch. I'd pay to see it.
  • Throwback

  • This article I just found interesting. It's the Wall Street Journal (NASCAR is often given coverage believe it or not) and Bruton Smith, owner of Speedway Motorsports Incorporated. Pretty good article with a little of everything thrown in.
  • WSJ & Bruton

  • Until something newsworthy happens...

I had been wondering if you'd throw out any opinions on the first female winning a IRL race - last weekend I saw Danica Patrick's name in the news briefly. It's not NASCAR, but it's racing?!?
