A moment of silence...

I'm really proud to be a NASCAR fan and today spoke volumes for my case.

At three o'clock eastern time, in the middle of running the rain delayed Coke 600, NASCAR threw the yellow flag. The purpose - they lined up every crew member on pit road, stopped and shut off every car on the front stretch and had a moment of silence for the brave men and women who serve our country. Those brave individuals allow us to participate in such an amazing sport and celebrate our freedoms daily.

I don't know of any other sport that holds our military in such high regard.

Really puts things into perspective.

Keep our armed forces in your prayers this holiday season.
