Creative wave...

There are few places in the world where I feel creative - like I could sit down and hammer out a 500 page novel.

The Charlotte area is one of them.

My hometown, is the other.

If I'm home there are lots of adventures to write about, see the following previous posts about Thanksgiving, my hometown, and of course working on the farm.

When I'm around motorsports I tend to get creative as well. I don't typically post my pieces on here - let's face it I want web traffic to the main site. It's just better for everyone involved. Hit up CupScene for the latest NASCAR news and views.

I sometimes think I am a walking dual personality. I love my Kansas life, my family is there, a good job is there, and everything I know is packaged neatly in the middle of the country. Then again, I really love my alter ego too. I dig the way I feel when I get to go travel and be in the middle of media scrums; breath in fumes and feel the rumble of 800 horsepower in your gut. It's a passion I can't explain.

Maybe someday I'll figure out how to balance both - more efficiently.
