Travel log: MSP...

I have been traveling through the Minneapolis - St. Paul International airport for about three or four years and I have one simple question.

Where in the hell has terminal G been? Because I found travelers heaven.

This terminal is unlike anything I've seen before, and that should tell you the types of airports I fly in and out of. Apparently this experience is available in New York, Philadelphia,Toronto, Washington D.C., Chicago, Boston, Orlando, and Tucson. I've been to Chicago and Orlando, and I didn't see this type of amazing and that probably tells me that I am obviously flying the wrong airline.

Usually when you wait for a plane at the gate there are people everywhere crammed into a tight space in very uncomfortable, dated, and sometimes not so clean chairs. Most times you have to pray for an outlet, or run toward the one cluster of seats with juice. You have to juggle things and there is nowhere to get any work done. It's not exactly comfortable, glamorous, or even functional.

Then I walk into terminal G.

Mind. Blown.

Not only is a bar in the center of four gates, there are booths with iPads, and power outlets at each station. There are also high top tables for people to charge up, or get some work done. But, the coolest feature was the order from iPad feature. That's right. I sat down in a plush booth in front of an iPad 2, plugged my phone in and ordered a drink. And, they brought it to me. The iPad at your table can also alert you to flight changes, or update you on boarding times. All you have to do is select which flight you'll be on.

My productivity level skyrocketed.

I was comfy, I was charging, and I was entertained.

Here are some photos of my experience. (I'm sure I looked like a rookie traveler, but C'Mon Man!)
