Good PR is what pays the bills so I will promote a special project we're working on in Dodge City. The latest program is Harvest Heroes.
Harvest Heroes is a series of stories brought to you by John Deere and High Plains Journal. These stories highlight everyday people doing extraordinary things within the agriculture industry. Our first hero, Brandon, is an incredible story. He uses his leadership skills learned in the military to help agriculture on a global scale. Harvest Heroes will have stories uploaded in conjunction with the printed versions, and there will also be photos and videos to compliment the stories.
Check out the site and stay up-to-date by following Harvest Heroes on Twitter and Facebook.
I will return soon with regular blogging. I am heading to the Kansas Speedway this weekend, followed by a trip to Minneapolis, Minn., for an Ag conference, and when I travel normally something is deemed blog worthy.
