Sometimes it's really hard for me to stay on task. Call it ADD or having a need to stay engaged, regardless, I had some time to listen to the radio today.

Slight mistake. It just got me further off task and surfing the net - I mean, doing "market research" - and figuring out how to exactly figure my birth number.

Now, let me just say this to begin with: I am not one to sit around and read tarot cards or check my horoscope everyday. However, the Onion does a very nice job of giving blunt horoscopes and they I am always entertained after reading it when I actually think about checking it out. I digress. Let's just say I'm not big into astrology or numerology, but the folks on the radio were batting a thousand so I thought I'd take a shot.

I was born on July, 20 1981 (insert old joke here) and therefore my number would be figured by adding the numbers until I get down to a single digit.

I'm a number one, that seems fairly simple. Then I read about the number one's of the world and was slightly intrigued. Here is what the explanation of the number one revealed:

1's are originals. Coming up with new ideas and executing them is natural. Having things their own way is another trait that gets them as being stubborn and arrogant. 1's are extremely honest and do well to learn some diplomacy skills. They like to take the initiative and are often leaders or bosses, as they like to be the best. Being self-employed is definitely helpful for them. Lessons to learn: Others' ideas might be just as good or better and to stay open minded.
