Greenish thumb...

I'm may actually be getting the hang of this patio garden. It's even a little overwhelming at times. It's become a jungle of future salsa-minus any jalapenos.

The wind has not been kind. Yesterday I had to rescue my poor plants after being blown over. I also had to pick up one of the empty pots down the street. Luckily nothing was harmed and only slight spillage occurred.

If you look closely you'll see I actually have tomatoes! They aren't turning color yet, but it's a start. That's more fruit than I have produced in the two years prior. The strawberries in the shoe organizer are a little sketchy, but they are at least green - they weren't so green a couple week ago.

My patio garden actually has fruits!

Looks awesome! I'm jealous! I may have to try something next year--our soil is too rocky to plant anything. :( Great job!!!

I used pots and bought the soil. Much easier, and less critters invade my space. It's actually pretty handy, although I just found an outside water source. I may have to go buy a hose instead of hauling water in a pitcher 14 times through the apartment.
