The weak link...

If I were a wildebeast chillin' at the local watering hole I would be eaten, devoured, and snacked on by a hungry lioness and her cubs.

I would be easy pray and in a world that thrives on "survival of the fittest" I would far from survive.

I wrecked my back and it has done nothing but kill my will to participate in activities such as bathing, eating, and leaving the house. I'm glad I was home for this, but it sucked. Two trips to the bone cruncher, a tub of ice, and a vat of Icy Hot later I am finally able to sit up in a chair for more than 30 seconds, and I even went outside.

It started with a sneeze, was irritated by the five hour drive home, and became debilitating after two stints behind the wheel of a combine.

I'm thankful for the extra help, because for once I actually tried to "take care" of it by avoiding chairs and the sitting position. This is really hard for someone like me to do.

My view for most of the week was the ceiling. Not being able to move really puts a damper on vacation.
